Evening tripDate: Sunday 17 mar 2019 - Saturday 2 May 2020
Join us for an evening fatbike trip along the many scenic dog sledding and snowmobile trails in the Alta Valley.
This is an unforgettable nature-based experience with a large portion of exercise included for good measure. On this trip we use powerful head tor
If we switch off the torches, there’s a good chance we will spot the majestic Northern Lights dancing in the sky above us! It does not get much cooler than this!
We stop en route at one of the Alta Valley’s many rustic shelters to light a fire and enjoy snacks/a light meal and tea/coffee brewed on the fire.
The duration of the tour is three hours, from the time you are picked up at your hotel until you are dropped off again (6pm – 9pm). We will determine the length and level of the trip based on the participants’ fitness level and cycling experience. Normal biking time will be 60-90 min.
The tour price includes rental of a fatbike, helmet, down filled jacket, head torch and Neos overshoes. The bikes are fitted with platform pedals. If you would prefer clipless pedals, just let us know (and then you won’t need the Neos overshoes).
It is nice if you bring a small backpack with space for some spare clothes, such as a down jacket to wear during the lunch break! If not, we will fix it!
(After 20th of March is it to light to experience Northern Lights on this tour. If seeing the Aurora is important we suggest joining us on our Evening Tour Hunting the Northern Lights. With a mini bus the range is larger, and this tour starts later)
